Kristen Stewart Honoring @jilliandempsey the Choice Makeup Artist Award at 2015 Image Makers Awards

Kristen Stewart is honoring her favorite makeup artist Jillian Dempsey the Choice Makeup Artist Award at the 2015 Image Makers Awards on January 12. See the full roster by Preta Reporter below.

Presented by L'Oreal Paris in partnership with AG Jeans, the affair promises to be quite swanky thanks to the ever-hip setting — Chateau Marmont. 

Marie Claire editor-in-chief Anne Fulenwider announced the honorees today, marking what is explained as "the pinnacle of a year-long multi-platform franchise recognizing the behind-the-scenes stylists, artists and gurus who help their A-list clients create signature looks, set trends and influence the style conversation." Hence the Image Makers moniker. 

This year’s list of honorees and celebrity presenters include: 

• Adir Abergel as Choice Hair Stylist presented by Jennifer Garner.

• Tracey Cunningham as Detail Maker presented by Jessica Biel.

• Jillian Dempsey as Choice Makeup Artist presented by Kristen Stewart.

• Micaela Erlinger as Choice Stylist presented by Lupita Nyong’o

• Sir John as Social Media Star presented by Nina Garcia

• Jenn Streicher as New Guard presented by Carrie Brownstein.

 The roster of 2015 Image Makers will be featured in Marie Claire’s February 2016 issue, which hits newsstands also on Jan. 12.

Jeremy Davis Leaves Paramore. My Heart is in Shatters.

Literally. My heart is in shatters. (no pun intended). But yes. After 10 years of being the best bassist and sweetest hairy bearded guy around to slap da bass, Paramore announced that Jeremy Davis is leaving, on their Facebook page.

These last few years have held some of the most fulfilling moments we’ve had yet... as people, as friends, and as a band. The Self-Titled era was one that we knew would be important for us but also one we'd eventually have to move on from. In moving forward, there is growth, pain, and change... and sometimes the change is not at all what you hoped for. We’ve written and re-written this countless times and there’s just not a good way to put it... Jeremy is no longer going to be in the band with us. To be honest, this has been really painful. After taking time to consider how to move forward, we ultimately found that we really do believe Paramore can and should continue on. And so we will.

We’re really thankful for the people who have helped see us through hard times before and what we’ve discovered is that those people are just as much a part of this as we will ever be. We’re hopeful for Paramore’s future and we’re also excited for what Jeremy’s going to do next. Thank you all for your support and your belief in us. It’s kept us going. We will see some of you really soon on Parahoy. If you’re not coming on the cruise, we will still see you in 2016.

I just don't understand this. I know I'll probably lose a lot of readers and followers for this, but this is crazy!!!!! They just won their first Grammy, had their first successful cruise show, announced a second cruise show, and countless other accolades. Now this?! Why now?! How could this happen?! How did this happen?!

But then again, it's not so surprising. If you've seen Jerm's Instagram, he's posted a lot of his own music works, family, friends, things like that. Hardly any Pmore stuff. Not that he'd did so much before, but now it's like hitting me like a runaway train. (no pun intended).

I really wish Jeremy well, and Taylor and Jeremy well. But it'll take me a longggggggg while to get used to this new lineup change. But who knows? Maybe we'll get another All We Know is Falling part two and he'll come back...? One can only hope.

CONGRATS: Kristen Stewart Nominated for the 2016 Detroit Film Critics Society Awards

Kristen Stewart may not have gotten nomination for the 2016 Golden Globes, but she's gotten another critics' one in Detriot! For the 2016 Detroit Film Critics Society, which was founded in Spring 2007 and consists of a group of seventeen film critics who write or broadcast in the Detroit area as well as other major cities within a 150-mile radius of the city including Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, and Flint, Michigan and Toledo, Ohio.

Kristen has been once again nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category for her performance in Clouds of Sils Maria. 

The winners will be announced on December 14.

Each critic submitted their top five picks in the following categories: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Ensemble, and Best Breakthrough, Best Screenplay, and Best Documentary. From these submissions, each entry was given a point value and the top five in each category have been placed on the final ballot.

ANESTHESIA: Watch Kristen Stewart in the First Trailer!!

Kristen Stewart, Sam Waterston, and Glenn Close star in Anesthesia, directed by Tim Blake Nelson. Co-stars include Corey Stoll, K. Todd Freeman, Gretchen Mol, Mickey Sumner, Jessica Hecht, Gloria Reuben and Michael K. Williams.

The film hits theaters and VOD on January 8, 2016.

Official synopsis:

Kristen Stewart's NEW INTERVIEW with Les Inrockuptibles | Thanks, itsoktobeyouorg for translating!

The lovely French fansite for Kristen Stewart, ItsOKtobeyou.org, translated her interview with Les Inrockuptibles.

After 'Sils Maria', you're currently filming 'Personal Shopper', Olivier Assayas's new movie. What can you tell us about your character?

Kristen: I'm literally killing myself for this film, my back is broken. I'm 100% involved. I did not realize how deep and existential it was, and how much it moves me. I play a very very very lonely girl, who isn't sure of who she is. Her twin brother died. And she has an obsession: get in contact with him. At the same time, she's a shopper for this woman who is a public figure and embodies a very superficial way of life. This is a film about reality, about what is real. Is all we feel real? What we rely on?

You work in Paris for this movie. Were you there the night of the attacks?

Kristen: No, in Prague, we left Paris forty-eight hours before. We were all together, we were having a good night and very quickly news were coming on phones. We had to shoot the next day, and it seemed completely absurd. To play, to tell a story, you have to fully be in what you do. In a situation like this, it's complicated. All the crew was French, chocked, and constantly on the phone. I find it very difficult to talk about this kind of event. We touch the inconceivable, the unthinkable. We are a generation who never knew the war, it is not part of our daily lives, and neither is this kind of violence. It's stuff we usually read in newspapers. The intensity of the shock we feel proves that we have no idea what this is. For a large part of humanity that lives in a country being in war, it's not a shock, it's just everyday reality.

Would you say 'Sils Maria' was a turning point in your career, in your way to position you as an actress?

Kristen: I have the feeling that Olivier has really chosen me - well chosen - for these two movies. The cast really makes sense, he didn't called me because he thinks I'm nice and cool. He took me with everything I am and what I represent in the cinema world. 'Sils Maria' was very meta, he plays with that. People don't have any desire at all to know how it's sometimes difficult to be an actress, to deal with superficiality, business, celebrity.

'Sils Maria' was like a shelter, a safe place where I can say things I don't have the right to tell without looking like a thankless. I've also discovered with him the possible difference between majority of American directors and a French director like him. In France, you know that without risk, without endangering, there is no real artistic work. The cinephilia we don't have in the US also makes all the difference. Money, recognition from critics are important but secondary. And all this conforted me in what I was looking for and gave me confidence.

You're one of Chanel's muses. You've just presented 'Once and Forever' in Rome, Karl Lagerfeld's latest short film in which you play a young Coco alongside Jérémie Elkaïm and Geraldine Chaplin. Do you feel comfortable in the fashion world?

Kristen: Depends on people I meet. I believe in its creative part, I like it. The way people can be attracted to this world, this, can be disgusting. I enjoy the company of Karl. He's a living encyclopedia. He wants to pass on to younger generations around him. He could have a huge ego - and he may have one - but I find it great that he's in this position. Inspiration is really what he's obsessed about, leading him to create what he creates. He loves movies, I think he could have been director in another life. I love learning from directors I work with.

What did you learnt from Woody Allen with who you just shot?

Kristen: His writing. It's precise, virtuoso. He has his own language. When he speaks, it's a mix of humor and assumed arrogance. Annie Hall remains my favorite Woodys.

Which directors matter to you?

Kristen: Martin Scorsese. He is capable of making big movies killing it. In France, I love Jacques Audiard. A Prophet transported me.. I would kill to work with him. I also really like Andrea Arnold. I love Fish Tank. This year, I loved Mustand, Deniz Gamze Erguven's movie.

Could you play a James Bond girl?

Kristen: No. I have no problem being a part of entertainment culture - and James Bond is a very good illustration of it. But becoming the definition of a sex symbol and just that, no. I have no problem with being sexy, I need a story.

You said that you didn't want to define yourself, that you are an ambiguity. Do you believe in gender fluidity?

Kristen: Totally! The insane and absurd pressure put on people who don't fit the dominant model disgusts me. I find this desire for control, archaic and creepy. I'm lucky, I live in Los Angeles, I grew up in West Hollywood, my parents are open-minded people who always encouraged me to be free, I work in movies. I know it's not as easy for everyone.

You're under a constant attention. You're scrutinized, we can see you with your boys and girls friends on Instagram..

Kristen: Yes, but I don't care. That said, I think things are changing among the younger generations. I'm sure if I have kids they won't understand why there could a problem. When I was a kid, difference was problematic. It was common to hear, "Oh, you're gay, you're weird, oh you look like a guy." And maybe yes, maybe no, it depends on who I'm going out with right now.

What are you listening at the moment?

Kristen: I don't know what happens to me, I fell back in Oasis. I'm crazy about Bon Iver, and his new group, Volcano Choir. It's faster and less folk than what he was doing when he was solo. And otherwise, The Specials. I'd love to love electronic music. But I can't. The thing that drives me crazy, when I want to dance, it's ska.

HIGH LIFE: ARTE France to Co-Produce Robert Pattinson and Patricia Arquette's Film

ARTE France will co-produce High Life, the Claire Denis film, with Robert Pattinson and Patricia Arquette.

Synopsis (via Screen Daily):

Denis’ English-language debut, due to shoot next year, is understood to follow a group of skilled criminals who, in a bid to escape their long sentences or capital punishment, accept a likely-fatal government space mission to find alternative energy sources.
The project, which ScreenDaily first reported in June, marks an intriguing change of direction for the White Material and Beau Travail writer-director.

The story is based on an original idea by Denis and her regular writing partner Jean-Pol Fargeau, and is due to go into production early next year.

Kristen Stewart is yet again nominated for the Best Supporting Actress award for Clouds of Sils Maria!! This time, it is at the 19th annual Online Film Critics Society.

“This year’s crop of nominees is a rich tapestry of modern world cinema.” The OFCS Governing Committee members John Hanlon, Wesley Lovell and Cole Smithey said. “Our organization has always had a unique perspective in our annual selections and this batch is as compelling and fascinating as ever.” 

The Online Film Critics Society currently consists of 254 members with writers representing 22 countries across the globe. The winners will be announced on Monday, December 14, 2015.
