Madame Figaro France Photoshoot Showcases the Different Sides of Kristen Stewart

Madame Figaro France has always been known to showcase different sides to actors, actresses and more in a pristine yet edgy way. So it's only fitting that they do the same for Kristen Stewart. Her aura screams "sophisticated rebel", so this photoshoot doesn't shy away for her to be her daring self. Photographer Matthew Brookes ,makeup artist Christophe Danchaud, and hairstylist Ken O'Rourke did a great job of making Kristen's aesthetic stand out but not be too distracting from her natural beauty.

Barefoot and Buckwild Kristen

Smoky Kristen

Staring-into-Space-in-a-Total-Baddass-Way Kristen

And the best type of Kristen...Puppy-Baby-Mom Kristen!!

Hopefully the full interview will be available soon (translated, of course). But for now, I think we can live with these perfect photos.

NEW BLOG POST: #PARAMOREonGMA 2017 and More Fansite News!!

Guess who's back....back again!! Dani's back...tell a friend!!

No, but seriously! Aside from the obvious, I'm coming back to blogging about my fave three groups, on a weekly basis. Now that school is almost over, I'm done with all of my classes, and graduation is next month, I have more time for fangirling goodness. Also... I have a new photo gallery from So Sugary!!

Visit paramorerklife.sosugary.org for more photos! It's just setting up, so brace yourself for all the epic photoshoots, candids, public appearances and more.

But back to the moment you've all been waiting for... PARAMORE ON GMA!! They performed five songs: Hard Times, Fake Happy (which has been released as a new single), and Rose-Colored Boy, and Caught in the Middle. I didn't think they'd do RCB live and have it air on TV, but that surprised me in the best possible way! And I loved how they all dressed in black and white. Additionally, the band announced via Twitter the next leg of their After Laughter Tour --- called Tour Three --- starting in Cardiff, UK on January 11:

Paramore's NEW INTERVIEW with The Guardian: "Two years ago I asked Taylor if we could start a new band. I was so sick of this crap"

Paramore discussed the new album, the frustrating lawsuit with ex-bassist Jeremy Davis, Zac Farro's return, and other things. It was a very good, deep, interesting article from The Guardian:

“What I will say is that it’s such bullshit that we’re in a lawsuit,” sighs Williams. “I wasn’t OK for a while; maybe I’m still not.”
Taylor York says that he didn’t even feel Davis’s leaving because he was so used to the pain of Paramore. “I was just numb,” he says. “It was just another drama and another example of being in a band and it being really difficult, and feeling bad about that. We have the coolest job ever but why does it have to be so hard?”
Obviously, I say, it doesn’t have to be so hard. If being in Paramore is so stressful, why not just pack it in for good?
“Oh yeah,” says Williams, assuredly. “Two years ago I asked Taylor if we could start a new band. I was so sick of this crap. I said we should just try something new, give it a new name.”
York nods: “I’ve wanted to quit this band so many times. Going through all this conflict and drama over the years … I was just like: ‘Man, I feel like we can keep going, but this is not worth it if we don’t want to be here.’”
So, if the only two remaining members wanted the band to end, why didn’t it? No one can give me a straight answer as to why Paramore ended up deciding to make another record.
“Honestly, I don’t know,” says Williams when I say there must be something, before making an attempt to explain. “We, for some reason, kept showing up and kept writing and, little by little, the songs got better and we got a little more inspired to do it.”

MENTIONS: Olivier Assayas on Kristen Stewart's "incredible pace and rhythm" in PERSONAL SHOPPER

Image result for olivier assayas personal shopper

PERSONAL SHOPPER director Olivier Assayas discussed Kristen Stewart's intense work on their second collaborative project. With Film Journal:

"She kind of popped up on the set forty-eight hours before the shoot," Assayas says by phone. "I had given her a screenplay that was 'finished' more or less, but we actually finished it on the set."
The director describes their work as a process of nonverbal communication, of operating on similar wavelengths. He praises Stewart's grasp of cinema, of "understanding what is going on within a shot. She brings such incredible pace and rhythm, she recreates the characters from inside, but at the same time she's guided by physicality, by the body."
Assayas notes how Stewart can manipulate time within a shot, expanding or contracting scenes simply on the strength of her engagement in the moment. "She knows that she can try things," he says. "She knows that she can push things. I think when you have a bad relationship with actors, they won't be as daring because there's always the possibility that if they try something stupid, you won't be smart enough to edit it out. It's all about trust. I give her as much space and time as she needs within the shot and she gives me the risks she's taking. She gives me back the trust I give her.
"A lot of scenes or moments were very much shorter or slightly different in the screenplay. Every now and then Kristen would do something and I would turn to my continuity girl and ask her how long was this shot, and she would tell me like three minutes. And I would just freak out because I didn't realize it was that long. But I wasn't bored one second, I was discovering something new that Kristen was bringing."
Sounds like an amazing journey those two had had while filming. To read the whole interview, visit filmjournal.com.

MENTIONS: Kelly Reichardt Talks Working with Kristen Stewart with LITTLE WHITE LIES

Certain Women director Kelly Reichardt talks about working with Kristen Stewart on the film together with Little White Lies:

“Some friends of mine made a film with Kristen, Still Alice, so they gave the script [for Certain Women] to her. Her response was, ‘If it happens, let me know, and I’ll come do this’, but right up until the day she arrived on set, we were like, ‘Is Kristen Stewart really going to show up?’ And then there she was. It was like, ‘Oh hey, here you are.’”
“I had worked with Dakota Fanning and with Jesse Eisenberg [on 2014’s Night Moves] and they are two of her closest friends, so they put in a good word. I had had really fun experiences with both Dakota and Jesse, so I think because of that Kristen was game for it. But she was completely unperturbed by the size of the part. She’s not the lead. She plays a supporting part in the movie, and she made so much of that character.

“She let Lily Gladstone’s character set the pace and be the focus. She was so generous – a really generous actor, I thought. She helped give it some shape, because Lily’s a really different kind of actor, really intuitive and Kristen, likewise, is an intuitive actor, but she’s also been doing it a long time and she’s a technical actress. I thought that it played well in terms of who the two characters are. She had a barbecue for the crew on the day off and was just totally easy and not at all demanding.

“I loved her in The Runaways, that’s really what I loved Kristen in most. It’s an imperfect movie but all the women in it are really… I loved the real Runaways so I really did not want a movie of The Runaways, but she’s really good in it!”
Visit lwlies.com to read the full interview.

It's so good to hear all the praise from the people who matter the most to her.
