Here's the second installment of our my Weekly Update:
In more positive news, Paramore announced the official lineup for Parahoy! 3: Deep Search. Special guests include: Local Natives; Judah & the Lion; MeWithoutYou; Now,Now; HalfNoise; Mija; and comedians Jordan Rock and Ryan O'Flanagan.
Hopefully, we'll see "No Friend" from After Laughter live, considering Aaron Weiss of mewithoutYou did spoken word on the album. And HalfNoise is a given, considering that's drummer Zac Farro's side project band.
Robert also attended the 2017 Gotham Awards. He was nominated in the Best Actor category for Good Time, but he lost to James Franco for The Disaster Artist. Good news is that Rob actually met James on the red carpet!
In other news, Rob confirmed his next film, Embrace of the Serpent with director Ciro Guerra.
In his next film, Waiting for the Barbarians, Rob's character has been named Colonel Joll, according to IMDBPro. It’s under “projects in development and its status is still “optioned”.

Paramore
Paramore's album After Laughter was featured in Consequence of Sound's Top 50 Albums of 2017.
They described the album lineup changes as something that "almost broke up Paramore, but Hayley Williams, Taylor York, and a returning Zac Farro came back stronger than ever to record their most pop-leaning album to date".
They loved the album because of its "catchy sing-along hooks and ’80s pop production combined for a bright, polished sound that barely conceals the heartbreak and pain in the lyrics underneath".
This good news helps shadow the disappointment of not having After Laughter nominated for any Grammys in the 2018 awards ceremony. The nominations were announced on November 28. While we were hopeful that we would get to see at least some nods up the band's belt, it was not successful this time.
I've previously said this on Twitter, but I thought it was a long shot for AFTER LAUGHTER, considering the heavy material, and the more laid-back promo they’re giving this album. If you remember back during the self-titled era, we got to see the band everywhere --- every TV performance, festival, concert, touring several times across the globe. Now we've only gotten three tours and one TV performance. We're lucky to still even have Paramore still rocking! I’m just glad that they now have won one Grammy up their belt. There will be plenty of times for them to get more.Paramore #GRAMMYs history:— Paramore-Music.com (@paramoremusicom) November 28, 2017

In other news, Rob confirmed his next film, Embrace of the Serpent with director Ciro Guerra.
I saw ‘Embrace the Serpent’ that last day it played at the Sunshine in New York and the matinee was packed. I just knew Ciro Guerra’s next film was going to be amazing. I’m going to do ‘Waiting for the Barbarians’ with Mark Rylance,” he teased.
In his next film, Waiting for the Barbarians, Rob's character has been named Colonel Joll, according to IMDBPro. It’s under “projects in development and its status is still “optioned”.
In fun, less-professional but still a public appearance news, Rob attended the Miami Heat vs. New York Knicks basketball game at Madison Square Garden, with Good Time director Josh Safdie on November 29! He had his first experience on the Celebrity Row and made it to the Jumbotron. Pretty cool!

This makes Lizzie the eighth Sundance premiere Kristen has been apart of since her debut, Speak in 2004. It's clear that she feels very much apart of this lovely, indie community.
