I decided to try something different with the blog this week and do a wrap-up post for all the events that happened with Paramore, Rob and Kristen from April 8-14 (Sunday-Saturday). It's kind of like what some other fansites do, linking back to their own content, but I'm linking to content that I'm a fan of.
Not that much happened this week, just Paramore's third biennial Parahoy 2018: Deep Search cruise, as well as Kristen Stewart's 28th birthday on April 9. Robert Pattinson also had a new Dior Homme campaign with Karl Lagerfeld. Here's the fifth installment of The Weekly Update:
Paramore set sail on the cruise from Miami to Nassau, Bahamas for the third time! This was especially exciting for Zac Farro and his HalfNoise friends being their first time attending. The cruise has been sold out from months back, with plenty of activities set to do on shore.

Parahoy! 2018: Deep Search Cruise - Day 2
On the second day, Paramore invited some fans, divided into three small groups, to a 15-minute long acoustic mini-set. Phones and cameras were prohibited from this small event.
Two things that were not phone-prohibited were the infamous Belly-Flop and Paraoke competitions! In between the two activities, Hayley Williams and Brian O'Conner set up a GoodDYEYoung meet-and-greet to express their thanks for the support.

Parahoy! 2018: Deep Search Cruise - Day 3
On the third day of the voyage, the ship finally landed in Nassau, Bahamas. Paramore surprised fans by performing a mashup of Micheal Jackson's hit "Beat It" along with their song "CrushCrushCrush" during their live show. Also, they performed "Grudges" from After Laughter for the first time!

Parahoy! 2018: Deep Search Cruise - Day 4
On the last day on the ship, Paramore fans got to get to know the band a little more during their Q-and-A session. Many questions were about Zac Farro returning the band, to which he said, "I didn’t come back to a band, I got my family back… that’s their strength, it’s unconditional love."
Taylor York added, "Zac is always so present and able to have fun and see the good in things. Sometimes when just Hayley and I do interviews, it’s kind of serious… [Zac] levels me and Hayley out a lot."
The band didn't perform a set on this day, but their supporting acts Judah and the Lion, HalfNoise, and Nashville is the Reason had more time to share their musical talents on the tropical journey.
Also, the band got to celebrate their first After Laughter single, "Hard Times", certified gold in the US! Congrats, Hayley, Taylor and Zac!
